Q & A - Eating 'Round the Table

Hey everybody,

Today we're talking about eating around the table at home as a family.  Once upon a time it used to be a part of society in just about every culture.  Now today, in America at least, many of us are so busy that we either:

1.  Can't sit together because of various work and project constraints,

2.  So overstressed that we wanna unwind when we get home (and that's not usually at the table when "Little Johnny" is talking a mile a minute about his day),

3.  Preference to another room.

So we're discussing eating as a family.  How many still hold that tradition?  If so, why do we hold it?  If not, why?

BTW, I don't want anyone to be offended if they can't enjoy family meals together.  This is no judgment, we're just talking.
